Discipline
All students are expected to maintain discipline and uphold the rules and regulations of the college at all times. Any act of misconduct or indiscipline will be viewed seriously and may lead to disciplinary action.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited within the college campus:
Loitering on the campus without a valid reason.
Creating disturbances or engaging in disruptive behavior during college hours.
Rash driving, overspeeding, or unnecessary zooming of vehicles within or near the campus.
Use of mobile phones in classrooms, corridors, laboratories, library, and during academic activities without permission.
Ragging, eve-teasing, bullying, harassment, or any form of misconduct.
Smoking, consumption of tobacco, alcohol, or other prohibited substances on the campus.
Bringing or entertaining unauthorized outsiders within the college premises.
Dress Code
Students must attend college in neat, decent, and appropriate attire that reflects the dignity of the institution.
Wearing clean and presentable clothing is mandatory.
Students are expected to follow any dress code guidelines prescribed by the college from time to time.
College Rules and Regulations for Students
General Rules
- Students must wear their College Identity Card (ID) at all times on campus.
- Students should attend classes regularly and maintain at least 75% attendance.
- Punctuality is mandatory for all classes, laboratories, and college activities.

Laboratory Rules
- Students must follow all laboratory safety instructions.
- Handle computers, instruments, and equipment carefully.
- Do not install unauthorized software or modify system settings.
- Save work regularly and log out before leaving the laboratory.
- Food and drinks are not allowed inside the laboratory.
Library Rules
- Maintain complete silence in the library.
- Handle books carefully and return them on or before the due date.
- Do not damage or mark library books.
- Library ID or College ID must be produced when required.
- Personal belongings should not be left unattended.
Examination Rules
- Students must carry their Hall Ticket and College ID Card.
- Reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Malpractice, copying, or possession of unauthorized materials is strictly prohibited.
- Mobile phones, smart watches, and electronic gadgets are not permitted in the examination hall.
- Follow all instructions issued by the invigilators.
Campus Discipline
- Students must dress decently and maintain proper behavior on campus.
- Respect college property and avoid vandalism.
- Any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
- Vehicles must be parked only in designated parking areas.
- Organizing meetings or events requires prior permission from the college authorities.
Digital Conduct
- Use the college internet and computer facilities only for academic purposes.
- Do not access inappropriate or illegal websites using college resources.
- Protect your login credentials and do not share passwords with others.
- Follow cyber ethics and avoid misuse of social media that harms the institution's reputation.
Disciplinary Action
Violation of college rules and regulations may result in:
- Warning or counselling.
- Fine or penalty.
- Suspension from classes or college activities.
- Debarment from examinations (as per university rules).
- Expulsion from the college in serious cases.
Student Responsibilities
- Be honest, responsible, and respectful.
- Follow all college and university rules.
- Participate actively in academic, cultural, and extension activities.
- Maintain the dignity and reputation of the college.
- Cooperate with faculty and administrative staff.
